And the mandate comes all the way from the top of the Court of Kings bench, some may even say as high as King Charles himself, and it directs the court to do everything in its power to NOT foreclose on Canadian homeowners. That means that if there is even a fraction of hope that a homeowner can realistically correct the arrears on their property within a reasonable amount of time that the Court must explore it. And that can be anytime all the way up to and including the very final court date. I have literally stopped a foreclosure from happening on the very last court date when the judge was going to award the house to the bank! When I say it’s not too late I’m dead serious!
